According to Nova Scotia's Chronicle Herald MacMaster Choice Meats in Ohio, Antigonish County, have opened their abattoir and retail store and with Angus beef as the signature product. This beef will be naturally grown, without the use of fertilizers, hormones or antibiotics.
The owner is quoted as saying he has made a promise to local producers: "If they breed the way we want with Angus beef, we are going to pay them a premium price." See the story at http://thechronicleherald.ca/Business/1137164.html.
